Really, this is the section where I throw my ideas so they can die a slow death, though every once in a while, I find the drive and will to get one done. I leave the finished ones here so people can visit them and I see a history that reminds me I'm not a total slacker. I leave the canceled ones here because I am fickle and maybe decide to revisit them sometime in the future.
Back when I had a lot more time and was heavy into the web design, I wanted a freelance web design business that specialized in semi-custom and custom layouts for small concerns for not a lot of money. Thus was born Borboleta Designs because borboleta means butterfly in Portuguese (obviously). It took a while to get up and running but I actually managed it. No advertising, all word of mouth, and clients taken on a case by case basis. Pricing is determined by the scope of the project and individual need. You can see it here.
This one's a little ambiguous. Not necessarily intended for online usage, it could go in several directions. I'm a culinary student, so I obviously cook/bake a lot; a group of my friends and I get together once a month for a collaborative dinner party; and there's even an idea for an illustrated cookbook that's linked to fiction that a friend and I have been batting around for a while. So one of those or maybe something completely different but it would involve lists of ingredients and instructions for making them into something edible.
A Torchwood fansite with a pretty slick design, if I do say so myself. It had episode guides and a kind of wiki for the characters/aliens/tech. Unfortunately, the Children of Earth miniseries disappointed me badly and I just don't feel like it anymore. Tragic.
A blog about...well...girlie stuff. Product, mostly. Originally collaborative, it turned into a personal site that had a short time in a blog called Powder Puff. This has since been moved to and swallowed by my LiveJournal under the product addict tag. I don't post on it often but when I do, I try to make it a comprehensive, informative report on whatever it is I'm talking about. Yay makeup!
On indefinite hiatus for lack of time. Based on a quote from a Dharma Talk given by Thich Nhat Hanh in 1998, it's a clique for people who believe in equality (for everyone, not just the people you like) and interconnectivity between people and everything around them. Not religious.
A comprehensive database of all my fictional characters. More for my own use than anyone else's, it will be password protected...but it will be pretty!
A basic tutorial site for web design newbies. I brought it back to life, though it has little content, as of yet. You can see it here.
